Winners announced!
At a glittering gala dinner, the winners of the 2007 Customer Experience Awards were announced.Top prize went to Bromford Housing Group, the housing association based in the West Midlands. A previous entrant, Bromford also picked up the the Public, Voluntary and Charitable sector award. The judges were hugely impressed with how well a highly committed staff actively engage with their customers and deliver very high levels of service.
The Henley Customer Experience Leadership Award was won by Professor Mike Chester who heads up the National Refractory Angina Centre in Liverpool. Mike has gone about his personal challenge, to move the NHS to a customer focused way of working with a passion that embraces everything he does. Just as important, he has shown that this approach delivers real results in both healthcare outcomes and patient satisfaction.
The other sector winners were:
- The travel company National Express Group picked up the Business to Business Award for their work in guiding and supporting a number of coach and rail companies.
- Daimler Chrysler Financial Services which provides vehicle leasing for brands like Mecedes, Smart and Chrysler won the Financial Services Award.
- A supplier of manufacturing automation systems, Cougar Automation based in Waterlooville Hants, was the winner of the Manufacturing and Engineering Award.
- The Retail and Consumer Services award was won by Eaga plc. Eaga provides services, products and solutions that address the social, environmental and energy efficiency objectives of Government and the private sector.
- The Small Business Award for companies with less than 50 people went to Networks First a supplier of telecommunications services.
The winners will be featured in a special supplement of the Sunday Times on November 11th.
